Happy Hands - Deaf parents and children group - Leisure

Happy Hands is our recently established play group for deaf parents or deaf children.

Each session runs the last Friday of the month, usually from 12noon to 2pm by the deaf parents themselves. The group is for children from birth to school age, although during school holidays older children can attend.

The group promotes positive role models and plays a vital role in showing that there is a peer support, especially for new or struggling parents.

The group arranges activities, crafts, guest visitors, games and parties for each session.
