The Early Help Family Support (SEND) service is a family focussed service which provides a specialist worker whose main job is to work with the other agencies (health, education, social care and the voluntary sector) to provide -

  • advice
  • information
  • emotional
  • practical support

to families. This includes support to access direct payments if you feel your child may require additional support, such as a personal assistant (PA).

Families who have a child or young person aged 0 - 25 with a special educational need or disability can use this service.

More information about this can be found on the SEND Early Help Support leaflet.
