SEND reform updates

SEND Reforms survey for schools and other education professionals. Deadline 15 June 2026.

Schools and other education providers play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As part of ongoing and proposed SEND reforms, we are reviewing how effectively current arrangements are working and how future changes can better support inclusive practice, early intervention and positive outcomes.

We are seeking the views of schools and education professionals to help us understand what is working well, the challenges being experienced, and where improvements are most needed. Your insights from frontline practice are essential to shaping future commissioning decisions, system developments and partnership working.

This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Responses will be treated confidentially and used to inform local SEND improvement planning and implementation of reforms.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute — your expertise and experience are highly valued.
